Descrizione

An environmental education park entirely dedicated to the ancient art of falconry. Set against the fabulous backdrop of the medieval fortress of Gradara, it is set to thrill visitors of all ages. Conceived by Stupor Mundi and its founder, the professional falconer Massimo Lanatà, the park is the result of a long and demanding process of design and redevelopment. The park will also serve as a scientific and cultural centre for gathering and disseminating data useful to research into birds of prey.

If you look up in summer, you can admire the splendid flights of eagles and falcons from the Teatro dell’Aria, a falconry centre offering magnificent displays of this hunting art, which was so widespread in the Middle Ages and is based on the predatory abilities of these elegant birds of prey.
