The historic centre of Tavullia carefully preserves the medieval layout of the ancient Tomba de Pesaro, characterised by historic walls, fortified gateways and the Cassero, a vantage point from which to overlook the surrounding landscape. Amidst the village’s streets, authentic glimpses emerge – traces of daily life in times gone by and symbolic sites such as the Church of San Lorenzo Martire, which combines spirituality with local identity. Alongside the roaring spirit of the engines, the area offers a more relaxed and rejuvenating experience, thanks to a network of over 70 km of footpaths, cycle paths and marked trails that run alongside the River Foglia.
