Descrizione

There are several theories regarding the origin of this place name. Some suggest that the name derives from ‘Valle Lucula’, meaning ‘dark valley’ (probably due to the very dense woodland), whilst according to another theory, Vallugola could mean ‘valley of the vocal cords’, referring to the echo that can be heard here.

The Port of Vallugola is easily accessible by road via the SS. Adriatica (follow the signs at the Colombarone junction) and by sea, by boat, south of Gabicce Mare and north of Pesaro; it is situated just a few kilometres from the towns of Gabicce Monte, Casteldimezzo, Fiorenzuola di Focara, Gradara, Cattolica and Riccione.

The real highlights are the beauty of the landscape and its natural, relaxing atmosphere which, together with the various facilities on offer, will ensure your stay here is comfortable and enjoyable.
