The Old Harbour in Cattolica is home to around 150 fishing boats returning with their fresh catch, whilst in summer the ‘vongolare’ boats bring the ‘Magical Night of the Clams’ to life with light and water displays.
Heading towards the New Harbour, you can admire up to 150 pleasure craft and enjoy a breathtaking view stretching from the Piazzetta del Tramonto to the lighthouse marking the entrance to the canal.
The Darsena Interna, with its drawbridge, connects the two sides of the harbour, offering a unique way to explore both Romagna and the Marche. And don’t forget the ‘Caronte’ ferry, ready to take you from one pier to the other so you can discover all the wonders of this fascinating region.
