Descrizione

From this square, dominated by the bell tower, one can enjoy a sweeping and magnificent view across the entire Metauro valley as far as the coast.

Looking eastwards, towards the opposite bank of the river, you can see Serrungarina, a village rising in concentric rows of houses up to the main square, home to the old town hall, which is reached by climbing the staircase that cuts the village in half, branching off into narrow alleyways that offer glimpses of everyday life.

It was here that Renata Cortiglioni, amongst others, was born – the legendary director who conceived and led the Rai children’s choir.
