Church of Santa Maria del Soccorso

Descrizione

The monumental church of Sant’Agostino is dedicated to S. Maria del Soccorso: founded in the late 13th century and extended on several occasions, it can now be likened to an art gallery, given the paintings it houses – works from the school of Barocci and Titian, as well as pieces by Ridolfi, Ernst van Schayck, Ceccarini, Cialdieri, Presutti and Tiarini… renowned painters from the Marche region of the 16th and 17th centuries, who trained in Rome or Venice, alongside works by skilled cabinetmakers and woodcarvers.
