Descrizione

Set amongst the greenery of Monte Partemio stand the convent and church of Santa Maria del Soccorso, which were founded in the 16th century; however, all that remains of the original structure is part of the tower, one of the convent’s halls and part of the church’s masonry.

Rebuilt in 1782, the building houses many paintings that are true gems, including a ‘Conception’ by the artist Morganti, who was active in the 1500s; three 18th-century altarpieces by Pietro Tedeschi of Pesaro; the painting *Madonna del Soccorso*, housed in the church’s chapel.
