Artefacts dating from the Bronze Age

Excavations carried out by the University of Tuscia in Viterbo have unearthed artefacts dating back to the Bronze Age, which are now housed at the Archaeological Museum of Cagli.

The collection includes items that had long been held by the local council: amphorae from the 2nd century AD, a female head, a mosaic, building bricks and a marble capital dating from the 4th century AD, all of which are associated with the Roman settlement of Cale.
